On October 30, at about 6:16 a.m.
Officers responded to a radio call for service at a complex in the 200 block of San Vicente Blvd regarding a subject claiming he made an explosive device. Officers arrived and cordoned off the area for precautionary reasons. The subject was contacted at the residence. Officers determined the subject did not make an explosive device and recovered methamphetamine at the residence. The subject was issued a citation for the narcotics violation. The subject was transported to local facility for a psychological evaluation. Subject information is confidential.
