Santa Monica College is looking for applicants to serve on the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee that oversees Measures U, S and AA that fund major improvement projects at the college.
Representatives of a taxpayers' organization and local business communities of Santa Monica and Malibu are preferred to fill the vacancies. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, must not be a college employee, official, vendor, contractor or consultant to the college.
Some of the projects funded by the bonds include replacement buildings, seismic retrofitting and safety and technology upgrades.
