On April 4 at approximately 10:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 2100 block of Delaware Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who stated that she was inside of her residence when a woman, later identified as Dana Brown, 51, was standing in front of her residence yelling obscenities. The victim went on to ask Brown to leave; five minutes later she was seen entering a parked vehicle.
As the victim walked out of her home and toward her vehicle, Brown was sitting in her vehicle when she began to yell at her and drive her vehicle toward her. At this point, the victim realized that there was a male passenger in the vehicle.
Fearing that she would be stuck by the accelerating vehicle, the victim jumped out of the way and soon noticed that the vehicle had made its way up the curb.
The driver and passenger were apprehended and identified by the victim as the two subjects in the vehicle.
Brown was booked for assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $30,000.
