The Santa Monica Pier will celebrate Los Angeles hip-hop culture, classic cars and community at its free monthly Locals' Night event on Thursday, March 19, from 3:30 to 10 p.m.
Presented by Pacific Park, the event features a curated lineup by Top to Bottom LA showcasing the diversity and legacy of L.A.'s independent hip-hop scene. Main stage performances from 4 to 10 p.m. include Visionaries, Matre & LA Jae, English League, Shapeshifters, The Mighty Giants, BeOND, Acid Reign and Acid Lab Records, with live art by WOES.
Additional programming includes Don Guapo Classic Cars from 4 to 8 p.m., Mariachi Alta from 5 to 6 p.m., and free salsa lessons at Patio 66 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Books & Cookies Storytime takes place at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. inside the historic Merry Go-Round Building.
The event also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Route 66, the legendary highway that terminates at the Santa Monica Pier. More information is available at www.santamonica.com/route66.

Locals' Night is made possible by Santa Monica Pier Corporation, a nonprofit not fully funded by the City of Santa Monica.
