The Breast Cancer Fundraiser has announced its 6th Annual LABCF in Santa Monica to be hosted on November 16, at Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica. Join them for a night featuring the arts, dancing, and some of LA’s hottest items and opportunities featured in their Silent Auction.
The night’s program will begin with a feature presentation with breast cancer survivor Charlotte Martin and a patient testimonial from local breast cancer fighter, Becki Ottusch.
They invite the community to join ambassadors Dana Richards of Malibu Dana, Charlotte Martin, and Becki Ottusch to come out for a fun night as they raise funds to support local breast cancer patients.
This benefit supports the mission of The Breast Cancer Fundraiser to preserve the dignity of breast cancer patients and their loved ones by supporting their unmet needs.
Through partnerships with national brands like Ta-Ta Towel, TOMS shoes, and MDF Instruments, THE BCF provides its signature WeCare package to recently diagnosed breast cancer patients. Each WeCare package contains curated products that focus on five key areas: WeCare about your comfort, WeCare about your journey, WeCare about your wellness, WeCare about your beauty, and WeCare about your loved ones.
The brainchild of breast cancer survivor, Erin Monroe, the WeCare program is designed to provide a care package that consists tangible products and resources to help alleviate the overwhelming feeling patients may feel during treatment. Items like yoga mats, warm grip socks, soft blankets, stress-relieving coloring books, stationary, and journals are just a few of the many thoughtful products in the bags.
Founder Nilo G. Low shared recently, “To be a part of something much larger than anything I could’ve imagined is quite an honor. Breast cancer warriors like Charlotte Martin, Malibu Dana and Becki Ottusch are the only reason events like this are happening. It’s the passion that they have, and the first-hand experience of how powerful our WeCare program can be for a patient in need, that is carrying the energy of this inspirational night of generosity.”
THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser invites the community to get involved, volunteer, and raise awareness. For more information on the 6th Annual LABCF, please visit LABCF.EVENTBRITE.COM.
