The Santa Monica Public Library will present "500 Dates: Dispatches from the Front Lines of the Online Dating Wars" with Mark Miller on Sunday, July 19, at 2 p.m. in the Main Library's MLK, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Comedian and writer Mark Miller welcomes special guests — online dating expert Julie Spira, media expert Michael Levine, and ukulele chanteuse Janet Klein — to present a reading and scene performance, with musical interludes, of his book "500 Dates." A book sale and signing follows the program.
MarkMiller is a comedian, writer, and dating blogger. His book "500 Dates: Dispatches from the Front Lines of the Online Dating Wars" explores dating, romance, relationships, breakups, attraction, the nature of love, and how both men and women view the art science, expectations, and the reality of courtship in the 21st century.
