Santa Monica College will hold three glass pumpkin fundraising sales this fall to benefit the Art Department and community organizations.
The first sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Virginia Avenue Park during the Farmers Market Fall Festival. The park is located at 2200 Virginia Avenue at the corner of Pico and Cloverfield. Proceeds will benefit the SMC Art Department and Santa Monica Public Library Pico Branch.
The second sale is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SMC Quad on the main campus at 1900 Pico Blvd. during the Fall Transfer Fair. Proceeds will support the SMC Art Department.
The third sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Palisades-Malibu YMCA's Simon Meadow at Temescal Gateway Park, located at 15601 Sunset Blvd. Proceeds will benefit the SMC Art Department, Palisades-Malibu YMCA and local artists.
The sales offer handcrafted glass pumpkins in various colors, styles and sizes. Each pumpkin is a unique work of art suitable for fall decorating and year-round gifts.
The Palisades-Malibu YMCA, established in 1844, is a community-focused nonprofit offering recreational programs and family activities for all ages.
