Palisades Dolphin Strong will host its first fundraising benefit concert July 20 to support local wildfire recovery efforts and honor the legacy of The Amazing Music Store, a beloved Pacific Palisades institution for over four decades.
The Amazing Music Benefit Concert will feature live and silent auctions, a red carpet and live performances with leading musicians. The four-hour event will showcase local talent and provide an opportunity for the community to gather in celebration of reviving the Palisades' musical arts scene.
Sam Laganà , who was sworn in as Honorary Town Sheriff for Pacific Palisades in March, will serve as emcee. The Pali High alumnus and voice of the LA Rams is recognized for his extensive community service, philanthropy and Palisades stewardship.
The event honors Patrick Hildebrand and his son PJ of The Amazing Music Store, which was lost in the Palisades fire. All proceeds will support relief efforts for the music store and ongoing community support initiatives and grants for families affected by the fires.
Invited guests include U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman, Los Angeles City Councilwoman Traci Park, impacted residents and friends of the Pacific Palisades, and former Santa Monica Mayor Phil Brock.
Auction highlights include a signed instrument from Grammy-winning saxophonist Tom Scott of Steely Dan, a guitar from Taylor and merchandise from Norman's Rare Guitars, a Matador-Fire eco-friendly home protection system valued at $5,000, and a full architectural design package from Everlasting Homes valued at $144,000.
Proceeds will directly benefit Patrick Hildebrand and support Palisades High School's booster club and ongoing community rebuilding initiatives led by Palisades Dolphin Strong.
The event represents the first in a series of efforts to rebuild neighborhood touchpoints and safeguard the future for those most severely impacted by the Palisades fire.
This is a cashless event accepting credit cards and Zelle. All ages are welcome.
