January Blog 2026

Happy 2026! Here’s a New Year’s resolution that’s easy to keep. Want to make a deeper commitment to farmers and farmers markets and your health by shopping farmers markets at least once a week? With 4 Santa Monica farmers markets you can shop for farm-fresh local produce on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.

It’s juicing season and the farmers have got everything you need to get back in the groove after a month of feasting. It’s the perfect time for greens and herbs. Add a little lemon juice and blend! Or if smoothies are more your thing, there are still berries available to toss into the blender with kale for a tasty smoothie. Not to mention citrus and avocados are now at their peak.

There is a lot to look forward to this coming year including new pop ups Bakeman Bars and the Edgemar, Fat Uncle Farms and Buon Gusto and Garcia organics is back with organic citrus. Harry’s Berries will be back mid-February. Look for special guests Samohi Jazz Band and Masanga Marimba among others joining us in the spring!
