CITYWIDE — A 3.0 magnitude earthquake, which struck off the coast of Manhattan Beach at 12:23 p.m. according to the United States Geological Survey's website, was felt in Santa Monica.
Dozens of Twitter users in the city by the sea acknowledged that they'd felt the quake.
"Just felt an Earthquake, and now I _know_ Santa Monica can be home," one said.
"Oh hi #earthquake! 🙂 Still felt it 6 floors up in Santa Monica," another said.
The Daily Press has not yet heard about any incidents relating to the earthquake.
