Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is holding its next Job Fair to fill more than 200 Spring and Summer positions on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Seaside Pavilion, which is located at the west side of Pacific Park next to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

To highlight the urgent need to hire the 200 new employees, Pacific Park’s 90-feet-tall Ferris wheel with its 174,000 LED lights will be displaying the following messages nightly through May 8, except on the evening of Cinco de Mayo:

  • “JOB FAIR / 4-24”
  • “NOW HIRING”
  • “WORK HERE”

Pacific Park looks for fun, outgoing, energetic team members to work in areas like Scoops Ice Cream Shop and Beach Burger as well as rides, games, retail and security, among others.

Potential employees can visit Pacific Park to submit an application in person where they can meet face-to-face with supervisors to ask questions about available positions and explain why they are great fit for the Pacific Park team. Many applicants will be hired on site and provided with dates to begin orientation and training. Job seekers can also apply online anytime at http://www.pacpark.com/jobfair. Pacific Park is an equal opportunity employer.

“As we move closer to the spring and summer seasons, it’s critical that we hire enough new employees to make sure that we’re able to provide great customer service and go above and beyond our guests’ expectations,” says Nathan Smithson, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. “Pacific Park is one of Santa Monica’s largest youth employers and provides employees with a variety of opportunities including gaining valuable skills and training on the job all while working at the beach and oceanfront.”

Pacific Park’s rides, including the Pacific Wheel, are currently open to the public. The Park is also offering select services in its over-the-ocean dining plaza, beachside retail, and midway games. Following written guidelines from the state, guests should expect new experiences including the option to purchase ride tickets online in advance of their visit, a single entrance to the ride area at the east side of the Park, and monitoring the number of people in the Park at one time.

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is located at 380 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401. For additional information and hours of operation, call 310-260-8744, visit www.pacpark.com, follow on Instagram and Twitter: @pacpark and Like at Facebook: facebook.com/pacificpark.
