Residents are invited to come meet theirfriends and neighbors at the North of Montana Association annual meeting Saturday, Jan. 24. Get to know your Council members (including the new one) and Commissioners from the neighborhood. Inform yourself about the new Zoning Ordinance changes proposed for Montana Avenue; new water use rules and tools the city is offering for conservation; and current crime and safety concerns. Get involved and help shape the priorities for 2015.
The meeting will include board elections, popcorn, raffle, Santa Monica tunes, and a short film about the city in 1959. It will be held at the Aero Theater (1328 Montana Ave.) from 2-5 p.m.
