Enjoy scenic images by local photographers at the Malibu Arts Commission’s next public art exhibition, “Malibu Perception,” in the Malibu City Hall Gallery. Community members are invited to attend the free, in-person opening reception with complementary food and beverages at City Hall on Saturday, April 30 at 4 p.m.
“I applaud the work of the Arts Commission in curating a wide variety of excellent art exhibitions in City Hall that showcase and support the artists in our community,” said Mayor Paul Grisanti. “I hope you can join us for the opening reception, meet the artists, and celebrate Malibu’s vibrant art scene.”
Participating artists include Carla Bowman Smith, Julie Ellerton, Nicole Fisher, Maureen Haldeman and Dave Teel.
The exhibition is open to visitors Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. starting Monday, May 2. No tickets or reservations are needed.
The City of Malibu follows Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines for indoor public spaces. Facemasks are strongly encouraged but no longer required while inside City Hall in accordance with the updated County Health Officer Order as of March 23, 2022.
