Lime has announced that it has received its permit to operate in the City of Los Angeles.
“Lime has had great success with our pilot programs in the City and we are excited to begin operating throughout Los Angeles,” said Sam Dreiman of Lime.

“Lime has been a great partner with the City of Los Angeles, and is an important asset as we work to bring more mobility options to the entire city,” said City Councilmember Joe Buscaino, who represents the 15th Council District where Lime was first piloted.
“Lime has shown itself to be a great community partner in LA. The LA Conservation Corps supports our Corpsmembers having access to sustainable and convenient mobility options,” added Wendy Butts of the Los Angeles Conservation Corps.

Lime is committed to working with the City of Los Angeles to ensure that mobility options are provided in every part of the City, giving residents good choices that help to alleviate traffic and emissions. Lime is committed to safety and will be working closely with neighborhoods to make its operations safe for riders, pedestrians and all residents. As part of its extensive community outreach efforts, Lime has met with more than fifty local neighborhood groups within the City of Los Angeles.
