Santa MoniCARES is holding its inaugural fundraising event this summer and it’s going to be rad. The Totally Awesome 80’s Prom will be held Saturday, July 27 at the Women’s Club. Guests are invited to attend in 80’s prom or retro 80’s costumes for an evening of dancing, food, drink and, like, so much fun for all to benefit local charities.
Santa MoniCARES is a coalition of representatives from Santa Monica Travel & Tourism and industry partners with a mission of harnessing the hospitable nature of the tourism industry to provide support to our local non-profit agencies. The organization engages employees of hotels, restaurants, attractions, retailers and more to provide volunteer hours, funding and in-kind support to the incredible organizations that are tackling important issues in the community.
Funds raised at this inaugural event will go to local nonprofit organizations that work to solve pressing issues in Santa Monica such as homelessness, workforce development, education support and elderly assistance. Ticketing options for The Totally Awesome 80’s Prom are as follows:
Wham! Level $100 Single Ticket
Includes unlimited dancing, food, drinks, entertainment. $25 of your purchase price is a tax-deductible donation.
Material Girl Level $550 Table for 4
4 Tickets, an 80s themed private table for your group and $100 of your purchase price is a tax-deductible donation.
Miami Vice Level $1,500 Table for 10
10 tickets, 80s Themed Table Décor, 2 bottles of champagne, premium seating next to the stage, logo/call out for sponsoring during the event and $250 of your purchase price is a tax-deductible donation.
