We say “defund the police” in part because of unequal justice under the law.
National Public Radio reports Thursday morning that only 52 people were arrested of Trump’s D.C. mob storming the Capitol, Wednesday.
Virtually all of the fascist thugs that broke into and ransacked the Capitol were allowed to freely exit and go on their way by the police.
In fact, videos show D.C. police opening gates to the terrorists to invade and ransack the Capitol: some taking selfies with the“protesters” in the process.
Compare this how lefty sit-ins and other peaceful protest is handled. These protesters are sometimes literally swept up in plastic nets, or grabbed and carted off brutally, to jail.
Defund the police, and put those enormous resources to good humanitarian use.
