On October 8, at 2:20 p.m.
Officers responded to the Apple Store located in the 1400 block of the 3rd Street Promenade because a male suspect had bit one of the loss prevention officers. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect had been advised they are not welcome at the store due to past violent encounters. The suspect started to yell and punched towards one of the employees. Loss prevention intervened and was bit in the arm trying to restrain the suspect. Faheem Abdulmuhamin, 32, homeless, was arrested for battery with serious injury and assault. Bail was set at $50,000.
