On May 10, at about 2:48 p.m., Santa Monica police officers responded to Sephora, 1244 3rd Street Promenade, regarding a theft suspect in custody.
Officers determined the suspect entered the store and selected merchandise from the display cases.
The suspect concealed the merchandise in a shopping bag and purse. The suspect exited the store without paying for the merchandise and was detained by a loss prevention agent.
The suspect was in possession of a tool to remove security sensors from merchandise.
Dolores Ceron Hernriquez, 44, from Los Angeles, was arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools. Bail was set at $20,000.
