The Santa Monica Public Library presents "How to Divide the Family Money ... Without Dividing the Family" with Jeff Condon on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in the Main Library's MLK, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.
Author Jeffrey L. Condon discusses the issues to consider to protect your children's inheritance from squabbling, squandering, mismanagement, tax collectors and other risks of loss. Increase your awareness of the inheritance issues you never considered, but must address. With his late father, Gerald M. Condon, Jeffrey is the co-author of "Beyond the Grave: The Right Way and the Wrong Way of Leaving Money to Your Children (and Others)," which the Wall Street Journal called "the best estate planning book in America." He is also the author of "The Living Trust Advisor: Everything You Need to Know About Your Living Trust." Jeffrey presently practices at the Law Offices of Condon & Condon in Santa Monica. A book sale and signing follows the program.
This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first-arrival basis. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible.
