Your editorial states that growth in Santa Monica is inevitable ("Editorial: Planning for the future," Feb. 4).
There are some things in life that are inevitable, but over-development aligned with massive vehicle gridlock are not.
Accommodating growth for growth's sake is something I've heard about from several City Council members, who out of the other side of their mouths love to very loudly tout sustainable Santa Monica.
