Join Chamber Music Palisades (CMP) organizers on Wednesday, April 24 at 8pm for the final performance of their 27th season. Enjoy an evening of varied chamber music with talented players from Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera, San Diego Symphony, and Santa Monica Symphony, including Jonathan David (oboe), Sergio Coelho (clarinet), Judith Farmer (bassoon), Amy Jo Rhine (horn) and Chamber Music Palisades Artistic Director Susan Greenberg (flute).
The concert also features the brilliant duo piano performers Bernadene Blaha and Kevin Fitz-Gerald, professors at USC. Alan Chapman (KUSC) will be the host for the evening, offering his fascinating program notes to enlighten our evening.
The program comes from around the world, with music by American, German, French, Italian and Romanian composers. The adaptability and skill of their musicians will be on display in different configurations, featuring piano four hands, trios, woodwind quintet, and piano sextets. The performance is sponsored by the Sidney Stern Memorial Trust.
Tickets are available for $35 online at cmpalisades.org or at the door the evening of the concert at Saint Matthew’s Parish, 1031 Bienveneda Avenue, Pacific Palisades. CMP offers free admission for full-time students with an ID.
