Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón has announced charges against Lisa Jones for allegedly vandalizing a dozen vehicles with bricks throughout the cities of Los Angeles and Santa Monica between Feb. 21 and March 29, 2024.  

“The reckless and destructive behavior exhibited by Ms. Jones demonstrates a flagrant disregard for the law and a lack of respect for other peoples’ property,” District Attorney Gascón said.

Lisa Jones (dob 8/7/93) is charged in case 24ARCF00491 with 11 felony counts and one misdemeanor count of vandalism of $400 or more in damage or destruction of property.

Jones pleaded not guilty during her arraignment on April 5 in Dept. 30 of the Airport Courthouse. Her preliminary hearing is set for April 19, Dept. 31 of the same courthouse.

Between Feb. 21 and March 29, 2024, Jones allegedly randomly vandalized a dozen parked and unoccupied vehicles by throwing bricks at them. The incidents occurred in the cities of Los Angeles and Santa Monica.

The People recommended that Jones be held on $600,000 bail. The court set her bail at $120,000.

If convicted as charged, Jones will face a maximum sentence of nine years and eight months in prison. The case is being investigated by both the Los Angeles and Santa Monica police departments.
