Santa Monica’s freshest food fare was on display Feb. 28, as the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce welcomed Rabano Handcrafted Food & Drinks to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

This is the restaurant’s second location alongside a spot in Hermosa Beach, and everything is made with locally sourced ingredients. The company also partners with sustainable local farms and uses compostable packaging. Food items include a bevy of salads, burritos, sandwiches, burgers and bowls.

On the drink side, Rabano has a selection of milk teas, shaken iced teas, fruit teas and frosty lattes. Joining the Chamber and Rabano owner Fernando Chong was Santa Monica Mayor Phil Brock, who wished prosperity on the new location.

Rabano is located at 2507 Main Street and has soft opening hours of Tuesday-Thursday, 11am to 4pm, and Friday-Sunday, 11am to 8pm. For more information, visit rabano.co
