SMPD officers arrested Scoot Way for assault near Main Street & Olympic. Based on the victim’s statement, Way struck the victim with a closed fist at the back of his head multiple times for an undetermined reason. At the time of writing, Way has an upcoming court appearance scheduled for September 26.
