Flags: The Santa Monica Elks with the help of the Girl Scouts, Daisies, Boy Scouts, and community members put flags on the graves of Woodlawn Cemetery. There were 50 scouts and community members helping the 23 Elks in attendance. The Santa Monica Elks started the official Memorial Day activities over 75 years ago at Woodlawn Cemetery.
