A stabbing near Tongva park has temporarily closed the area as police investigate the scene.
Officers were called to the intersection of Main and Olympic at about 1:55 p.m. on Friday for an unknown trouble call. Upon arrival, they found two victims with stab wounds.
Both victims received medical aid on-site and were transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Several individuals were seen running into Tongva Park at the time of the incident and officers have detained several people for questioning.
The scene continues to be active, a perimeter is in place and officers are asking everyone to stay out of the area.
