The Santa Monica College Music Department will present the SMC Chamber Choir in “SMC’s Seasons Celebration.” Under the direction of SMC music instructor Jeremiah Selvey and accompanied by SMC pianist Gary Gray, the choir will perform Sunday, December 12, at 4 p.m. in The Broad Stage at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.

The concert will present a variety of tunes sure to make the holiday season brighter, with selected works to be performed by invited guests that include a musical combo and members of the SMC Percussion Ensemble and SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble, with guest director Andreas Preponis leading two pieces. Performers will also lead audience sing-along selections, so guests are encouraged to come warmed up and ready to empower their own voices.

Tickets are available at the door (cash only) and cost $15 general admission (free for students with I.D.). Free parking on premises. An I.D. and proof of vaccination (or negative test within 72 hours of the event) must be presented to attend the event. Masks are required at all times. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.

More information is available by calling (310) 434-4323.
