Thanksgiving week is finally here! Now is the perfect time to support our neighbors who could use some extra help this holiday season. 

Many nonprofits and neighborhood groups have organized some inspiring events across the city that still can use your help this week. Check out the list below and you’ll be sure to find an opportunity that you and your family can support.

NOVEMBER 23rd – Join Pico Union Project in handing out meals to families 

On Tuesday, Nov 23, from 2:30pm to 5:00pm, Pico Union Project needs volunteers to hand out meals, hygiene items, and other household necessities to families in the community. Call a friend and ask them to join you for a few hours as you support the great work being done to help families. Live music will make the day one to remember! Sign up at:

NOVEMBER 24th – Help St Monica’s Church to feed hundreds of people

St Monica’s Church is hosting a Thanksgiving event which requires a slew of volunteers to support. You can sign up to help manage guests, drop off meals to those unable to attend, or help clean up after the event. All shifts are from 11am – 5pm. Sign up at:

NOVEMBER 24th – Assemble 3,000 food packages for BIG SUNDAY

Our friends at BIG SUNDAY are set to provide packages of food and other necessities for hungry and grateful people all over town. They will have a community breakfast for all volunteers. Wednesday, November 24 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. We’d love you to join us! Learn more at:

Deliver meal kits or meals to Community Corp residents in Santa Monica
