Elemental Music and American Youth Symphony launch “Concerts in the Park” series Audience members of all ages are invited to join Santa Monica nonprofit Elemental Music and the American Youth Symphony for a music-filled afternoon at Santa Monica’s Tongva Park on Sunday, December 5 at 11:30am.

This free, family-friendly “Concert in the Park” is the second in a series of three events being held at parks within the city of Santa Monica during the 2021–22 season. The performance on December 5 will feature a brass quintet from the American Youth Symphony performing lively music and festive holiday selections. There will also be an instrument petting zoo before and after the performance presented by Elemental Music, as well as musical goody bags for the first 75 households in attendance. No advance registration or reservations are required to attend the performances.

Elemental Music celebrates music-making and builds community through exceptional youth programs in Santa Monica and surrounding westside communities. The American Youth Symphony’s (AYS) mission is to inspire the future of classical music. To this goal, AYS provides fellowships to virtuosic young adults and presents exceptional, innovative, and free or low-cost concerts to the Los Angeles community.
