On December 23, 2019, at 9:30 a.m.

Officers responded to the Star Liquor located at 1929 Main Street for an Estes Robbery. A female suspect has attempted to pay for $19 worth of items with $12. When the store employee told her she did not have enough money, she took her money and the items and attempted to walk out the front door. The store employee followed her to the exit and grabbed the bag of items from the suspect. A struggle ensued and the female suspect hit the employee in the face with her left hand. The bag containing the items tore open and the contents fell onto the floor. The employee picked up the items and returned back to the front counter. The suspect followed, grabbing a banana and package of Cheetos and threw them at the employee. The employee was not hurt and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Ashley Taylor Aladana, 23, from Kingsberg, was arrested for shoplifting. Bail was set at $50,000.
