On November 14, at 12:15 p.m.

Officers responded to the Main Library located in the 600 block of Santa Monica. A male subject had entered the library and threatened to kill library staff, using his finger to mimic a gun. The subject was exceptionally animated in his threats to staff and they felt threatened by his actions. The subject was asked to leave and complied. Officers found and arrested the suspect. Christopher Anthony Roby, 49, homeless, was arrested for criminal threats. Bail was set at $50,000.
