Christopher Rex Parnell

On October 29, at 9:45 a.m.

Officers were called to Douglas Park to handle a radio call of criminal threats. A female patron of the park was praying when a male came over to her and advised her he was a federal agent. He then threatened to kill her while making a gesture across his throat from left to right. The female in fear phoned the police. Police arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody. Christopher Rex Parnell, 44, homeless, was arrested for making criminal threats, bail was set at $50,000.
