Crime Watch is culled from reports provided by the Santa Monica Police Department. These are arrests only. All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On September 12, at 12 p.m.

Officers responded to the Vons Market located at 710 Broadway. A homeless man had thrown firewood at the store manager who had contacted him about stealing alcohol and wanted him to leave the store. Jaquon Marquis Croom, 34, homeless, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $30,000.

  1. I’ve read every crime posted on your site for the past 2 months. Every person who has been arrested his been #1 Black, #2 Hispanic #3 2 people have been arrested were white. Can you explain why?

  2. There has been a mass migration of criminals just like this guy who now call the streets of Santa Monica home.
