Officers responded to 1350 Franklin St for a possible vandalism that just occurred. The victim heard what sounded like a crash and looked outside her window.  She saw an unknown male suspect sitting in her vehicle and noticed her vehicle’s window was broken out.  Victim ran outside to confront the suspect.  The suspect yelled profanities at the victim then pushed her to the ground.  The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim.  The victim quickly ran across the street and ran into a neighbor /witness’ home.  The victim watched as the suspect tried to hot wire her vehicle due to the victim maintaining possession of the vehicle keys. Once officers were on scene, the suspect was located inside the victim’s vehicle and was taken into custody. The recovered weapon was a plastic toy gun.
