Are you interested in exploring some of the 500 miles of trails in your own backyard? Climbing
a mountain or soaking your feet in the Pacific? Witnessing movie history at the still-operating
film set at Paramount Ranch? Discovering what Southern California looked like before urban
sprawl?
You are cordially invited to a program created for the Pacific Palisades Historical Society by long
time ranger, Mike Malone, who will discuss SMMNRA’s history and recreational opportunities
that comprise the 154 thousand acres of the nation’s largest urban national park.

This informative and entertaining event is free, as are parking and refreshments following the
program. No RSVP required.
