Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present a special Book Group Open House, featuring a spotlight Author Talk with emerging novelist Charles Dubow on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in the Main Library’s Multipurpose Room, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Representatives from most of the Santa Monica Public Library’s many monthly book groups will be attending this unique meet-and-greet style event, which veteran book group members and newcomers are all welcome to attend. Enjoy refreshments, meet the book group representatives to find out what they regularly read and where they meet, and find out if one of them might be a good fit for you.
In addition, the Open House features a special Author Talk with novelist Charles Dubow. Critically acclaimed for his first novel, “Indiscretion,” Dubow discusses his just-released second novel, “Girl in the Moonlight,” the sweeping story of one man’s lifelong quest to win the love of a mesmerizing woman. A book sale and signing follows.
This program free and open to all ages. Seating is on a first-arrival basis. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible.
