PCH —Caltrans will close portions of the Pacific Coast Highway starting this Sunday, Aug. 11 to repair damaged pavement inside the McClure Tunnel, officials said Friday.
The closures will be on the following days and times:
• Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Full closure of northbound PCH at Ocean Boulevard.
• Aug. 13 and Aug. 14 from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Full closure of southbound PCH at Fourth Street
Full closure of westbound Fourth Street on-ramp to westbound Interstate 10.
A signed detour will be in place. Closures are subject to change. Caltrans reminds motorists to “slow for the cone zone” and “move over.”

“Full closure of northbound PCH at Ocean Boulevard.” They do not cross.
“Full closure of southbound PCH at Fourth Street.” Those don’t cross either.
“Full closure of westbound Fourth Street on-ramp to westbound Interstate 10.” Fourth Street cannot go westbound (it goes north-south), and has no westbound onramp. Do you mean the Lincoln Blvd. onramp from westbound Olympic to the westbound freeway AKA northbound PCH?
Three sentences, five errors. I’m sure Caltrans screwed up the press release, but you should have challenged their errors, sir.
