Elvia Medina from Santa Monica College jumps in the air to pass the ball to a teammate over Solia Faapalli from Palomar College inside the SMC Pavillion on Wednesday. SMC won the non-conference game by a score of 64-44 to start the season 2-0. Medina was a member of the Santa Monica High School 2010 CIF championship team.
