Parking Structure No. 2 Seismic Retrofit <p>

Starting on Thursday, Aug. 5, the sidewalk in front of Parking Structure No. 2 will be closed to pedestrian traffic. There will still be access to businesses located to the north and south of the parking structure, but pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the west side of the street to get between Wilshire Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. The parking structure will remain open throughout construction, however the work requires temporary closure of up to 50 parking spaces per day. Also, traffic leaving Parking Structure No. 2 will not be able to exit onto Second Street. Instead, all exiting traffic will be re-routed through the alley behind the structure. Please be sure to obey all posted directional and no parking signs throughout the construction project. Estimated project completion is December, 2010.
