St. Joseph Center recieved a $25,000 renewal grant from the William H. Hannon Foundation in support of its Family Center and Food Pantry Program.
“My late uncle, our foundation’s founder, was a strong supporter of St. Joseph Center. Today, given the continued difficult economic climate, our support is even more critical,” said Kathleen Hannon Aikenhead, President of the William H. Hannon Foundation.
This contribution will help the center provide integrated services including case management, supplemental groceries, and youth programs. Family Center and Food Pantry Program aims to give families the best possible chance for long-term success by first addressing survival needs and then concentrating on overcoming some of the more complex issues that can be barriers to self-sufficiency. Last year more than 2,600 people benefitted from these services.
