A public hearing will be held by the Zoning Administrator to consider the following request:
The applicant requests approval to construct a two-story accessory building. The first floor of the two-story building would have a garage, exercise room, and outdoor shower. The second story would have a 240 square foot recreation room. The new accessory building would replace the existing structure which is a one-story, two-car garage. The proposed accessory building is a detached structure located on the rear half of a lot. The garage portion of the accessory structure will have access from the alley (22nd Court).
Pursuant to SMMC Section 9.04.08.02.040(s), the applicant may request a Use Permit to allow a two-story accessory building up to 24 feet on parcels located within the North of Montana area of the city, if such buildings conform to the development standards set forth in Section 9.04.13.050.
