Tracy Newman, Emmy and Peabody Award winner for co-writing the historic “coming out” episode of the “Ellen” TV Series, brings her special brand of original acoustic folk songs to The Talking Stick (1411C Lincoln Blvd. in Venice) on Thursday, March 14th from 8 PM-10 PM in “Single Girls Song Circle!” Newman will be appearing with singer/songwriters Anna Montgomery and Fur Dixon. Along with producing and writing for TV series “Cheers,” “The Nanny,” “Hiller and Diller” and “The Drew Carey Show,” Newman co- created “According to Jim” and is also a founding member of The Groundlings improvisation group.
