Patagonia Presents Fourth Thursdays Adventure Film Series

September 27, 2012 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM

| Free

Wolf and the Medallion

From the remote summit of a lonely granite peak in Keketuohi China, adventurer Jeremy Collins writes to his young son. This mesmerizing story, translated into a multimedia film scored live, was this year’s Adventure Film finale. Join us in celebrating Collins’ thoughts on a life running from complacency.

Sixteen expeditions in twenty-six years have tried – and failed – to climb Pakistan’s 8,000 meter peaks in winter. Simone Moro, Denis Urubko and Cory Richards became the first. Cold Chronicles their ascent, and the journey that brings the team to the brink of disaster.

Towers of Ennedi

There exist tales of untouched, unexplored gardens of climbing…and then there are the tales of getting there. The seemingly lifeless desert towers of northeastern Chad have beauty and mystery; that’s what filmmaker Renan Ozturk and his team set off to discover.

On Assignment

National Geographic Assigned climber/photographer Jimmy Chin to photograph Yosemite’s “Superclimbers’ for its May 2011 issue. This Camp 4 Collectve production follows that cutting-edge culture and shows what it takes to capture climbers constantly on the edge.
