August Meet-Up will Focus on Heirloom Tomatoes from Coastal Organic Farms,
A Staple at Santa Monica Farmer’s Market
Michael McCarty, hailed as a pioneer of California cuisine and known for his personal connections to local growers of the best seasonal ingredients at the farmers’ market; and Executive Chef John-Carlos Kuramoto, known for his knack for finding the best ingredients at the market.
McCarty and Chef Kuramoto lead an exclusive tour of Santa Monica Farmers’ Market to introduce guests to their favorite farmers, pay homage to ingredients of the season, and show how to pick the best ingredients. Guests will then head back to the restaurant and enjoy dishes specially created by Chef Kuramoto featuring the monthly ingredient, as well as wine pairings and recipes to take home.
