Kids act, sing, dance, create and perform a musical play – all in THREE days – a special theatre camp for those brand new extra Thanksgiving vacation days. Santa Monica Playhouse Create-a-Play Acting Camps are the most popular in town, called “Best children’s programs in Los Angeles!” by LA PARENT. Kids discover the joy of creativity and theatre magic as they share in an incredible three-day Short-Burst theatre adventure, excitedly diving into all aspects of play production, creating a unique mini-musical of their own, complete with costumes, make-up, lighting and sound. Thanksgiving Break Theatre Camp meets Monday through Wednesday, November 19-21, 2012.  Working with professional theatre artists to create an astonishing piece of original theatre, presented for friends and family, and the public, on the last day of the session, makes it all the more special. “My daughter had a blast! It’s amazing what they can accomplish! Nothing like it anywhere else!” says workshop mom M. Mayer. It’s the perfect way for aspiring thespians to spend those extra new Thanksgiving holiday days.
