“Santa Monica Weekly,” the new and improved news show brought to you by CityTV, will premiere on Monday, June 15. Offering expanded coverage of all things Santa Monica that matter most to you, the news team will bring you up to speed on civic affairs, construction, transportation projects and community events. Plus, hosts Veronica Castro and Chris Balish will sit down with the most influential and interesting people in our city to get the stories that matter, right from the source. For the premier episode our inaugural guest will be Santa Monica Mayor Kevin McKeown. Our reporters will also take you to important recent events like the Wellbeing Project launch, Arts & Literacy Festival and the Pier and Paddle Race & Ocean Festival.
“Santa Monica Weekly” will air daily at 7:30 a.m., noon, 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. CityTV can be seen on cable channel 16 on Time Warner and Verizon FIOS, on cable channel 95-303 for Time Warner non-digital subscribers, streamed live at citytv.org and live on mobile devices at smgov.net/citytvlive. CityTV is the government access cable channel for the City of Santa Monica. The channel airs live meeting coverage and a variety of Santa Monica-based programming.
