DOWNTOWN — Santa Monica boys’ basketball’s 75-63 win over Aliso Niguel on Friday has sent the Vikings to the semifinals of the CIF-Southern Section Division 1A playoffs.

No. 2 seeded Samohi will face Dana Hills on Tuesday at home for a possible appearance in the division title game. Top seed El Toro faces Crescenta Valley, also on Tuesday. Both games begin at 7 p.m.

 

St. Monica girls get another crack at St. Paul

 

Camino Real League rivals St. Monica and St. Paul will face each other a third time this season in the final of the CIF-SS Division 4A girls’ basketball playoffs later this week.

The exact date and time have not been announced by CIF-SS officials.

St. Monica was unable to knock off St. Paul in both league meetings, which secured the league crown for St. Paul.
